Markus Baur grew up in Bern, Switzerland, where he earned his federal diploma in Business Information Technology. He began his professional career in 1989 as a Software Engineer. He went on to found and run his own IT consultancy in Switzerland for several years before relocating to Vietnam, where he co-founded Axon Active Vietnam in 2009. Starting from a greenfield, he built the company into an organization of nearly 700 people, serving premium clients from around the world. Markus now serves as CEO of Axon Active Holding AG.
